The Viniyoga Foundation course is an immersion in the Foundations of Viniyoga from a Therapeutic Perspective. This is the essential underpinning knowledge that forms 80% of yoga therapy and is fundamental knowledge for a personalised approach to yoga.

Course focus:

  • In depth analysis of yoga philosophy and its application in practice

  • The important principles of practice of asana, meditation and other tools of yoga

  • The Classical way of practicing asana and the principles behind the modifications of asana

  • A comprehensive study of all the principles behind sequencing of asana, pranayama and meditation practice – the key that opens to the full efficiency of these tools

All material will be dealt with from a therapeutic perspective.

This course is a stand alone course and also a pre-requisite for those wishing to embark on the VHF/Yoga Therapy Australia Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (recognised by the AAYT) commencing late 2012. It is suitable for yoga teachers and all committed practitioners of yoga and is strongly recommended for every one who desires to take up the healing path.

The cost for all tuition, all meals (vegetarian), and nine nights accommodation depends on your choice of accommodation, and whether you take up the early bird discount.
